The treatment will be covered by your public health insurance if you are publicly insured in Germany. You are required to show your healthcard quarterly when you come for your appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you are privately insured, then please contact your private health insurance to ask if the cost of your treatment will be reimbursed to you. The cost of a psychotherapy appointment is regulated by the official scale of fees called the \u201cGeb\u00fchrenordnung f\u00fcr Psychologische Psychotherapeuten\u201d (GOP) for board-certified psychological psychotherapists. Currently the cost of a psychotherapy appointment for 50 minutes in English is 153,02\u20ac (GOP 870, Steigerungsfaktor 3,5). Individual treatment usually lasts between 10 and 25 therapy sessions, with a frequency of one to two sessions per week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
